Tidal Socks KAL

17th May 2019 1 min read No Comments

I’ve lost my knitting mojo.

Please let me know if you have any tips for reviving it because I’ve barely knit a stitch for the past couple of weeks! This is a recurring theme for me around this time of year. Just a sniff of summer and my desire to knit just withers.

Instead, these sunny evenings have brought on a frenzy of spring cleaning. Rummaging through a basket during one of those sessions, I stumbled across the swatches I made for the Tidal socks.

I’d forgotten how much fun I had designing these. It was lovely to spend a few moments remembering the process and enjoying the textures and yarn again. It made me yearn for a pair of my own… especially since the sample pair barely make it past my ankles!

I can usually rely on socks to kickstart my knitting. They’re small and portable enough to be great for warm weather knitting, so I’m toying with the idea of doing a summer Tidal socks KAL.
